The journey into F2P.. Kind of.

Hello! This is my first time blogging. =/ The incoming text will probably be written poorly.

My Rogues name is Fangcrutch. She isnt made yet because I need to find a way to put my BoAs/Shadowfang hence the name on my Trial account. If not ill be doing the F2P dream on my P2P following the F2P rules.. Mostly. You just have to have firey on a shadowfang. Lulwhut o.O

If anything ill be a noob and put 15 agility on it. Sorreh! Even though a shadowfang with +1 weapon damage is funny as hell. If you haven't seen how I got my fang yet watch the video on the side. The videos on the side will be updated frequently. I had a F2P lock with BiS gear and the grandstaff of jordan that I farmed, But to make a long story short I dont have her anymore. :p

Thats why ill be making this Rogue. I hope I haven't bore you yet so im going to end it here with a question of the "day"/question of the blog type thing... [Terrible sentence structure lol.]

What do you think would make the 20 F2P thrive the most? Getting rid of hunters, 24s etc?

What are YOUR thoughts?

So you're tricking a GM into abusing his powers to get your BoAs and Shadowfang all enchanted with enchants you cannot get in the F2P bracket.

That seems fair.

You can get BoAs and shadowfang in the F2P bracket. I decided im not using the 15 AGI on the fang.
=/
Im not "tricking" a gm. Im just going to ask him to transfer it to the other account.

The talent tree above is the STANDARD for rogues at low level twink brackets at the moment.

The reason why is because Ambush hits like a ho, But I see so many people playing this class wrong!!

Talent tree setup:
Nightstalker: Rank 2/2

It increases your speed in stealth by 10 percent and reduces the cooldown of stealth by 4 seconds. This allows you to have great mobility while stealthed and lets you hop in and out of combat!

Improved Ambush: Rank 3/3

Increases the critical chance of your Ambush ability by 60% and its damage by 15% I take 3 of this for obvious reason that will be explained later on.

Waylay: Rank 1/1

Your Ambush and Backstab hits have a 50% chance to unbalance a target, increasing the time between their melee and ranged attacks by 20%, and reducing movement speed by 50% for 8 sec. This skill is a great skill to slow down an EFC. You also use ambush all the time so its really nice. Great against hunters too.

How I play this spec:

I use this spec to jump in and out of fights quickly and to burst down an EFC. Its also a very good 1v1 spec because of shadowstep.

The only BAD thing about shadowstep is the way people use it. Since it does the damage increase to the enemy people will open with it.

You are NOT going to one shot someone with an ambush. Unless you are a 24 baddie. With full enchants, but still. You shouldnt open with this.

Since you will be taking waylay open with a regular ambush. With improved ambush you should still be hitting for a lot. Now depending why they do [for example]

If a Hunter disengages and you opened with shadowstep you are out of luck. So you open with a regular ambush. They disengage you shadowstep than lol.

Same goes with mages with blink...

I would only open with Shadowstep if I knew I was going to get the kill. Also please dont Kill Steal with it. Thats dumb. /palm
Like if the efc was about to get a heal off and you were able to shadowstep to him and finish him do it. Just be smart about it.
